SEASONAL POSITIONS
The 2010 Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival will run from early July through late August. Most positions are available during the actual run of the Festival, however, please note that some positions may offer pre/post hours.

2010 seasonal "House" positions
All seasonal House Positions have been filled for the summer of 2010. You are welcome to fill out an application for any of the positions below and we will keep it on file if there are any changes or openings.
Site Attendant-Full and Part Time
The primary emphasis for this position is to work mainly outside of the amphitheatre before and during the performances to insure the safety and comfort of the guests. Duties include preparation & cleaning of amphitheater for each evenings performance, assisting guests, watering of landscaping, keeping the food court clear of litter and trash, removal of trash from amphitheatre and the cleaning of amphitheatre after the performance. The Site Attendant must have a calm demeanor, flexible attitude to working hours and be able to respond to situations in a professional and constructive manner. Working hours are from 2:00 pm - closing (appx. 11:00 pm) nightly or split shift 9 am -12:00 pm and 5:00 pm - closing (appx. 11:00 pm)
Assistant House Coordinator-Part Time-4 nights/week
These individuals will assist House Manager with the duties associated with preparing the venue for patrons to arrive, seating of guests, general customer service and simple housekeeping duties. This is a very interactive position with our guests. Dependability and ability to work comfortably with the public is a must. Working hours are from 5:00 pm - closing (appx. 11:00 pm) nightly
Merchandise Coordinator-Full and Part Time
The primary emphasis for this position is to work in the Merchandise Booth selling souvenirs and apparel to the general public and to rent beach chairs to guests of the Upper Gallery. This position will coordinate inventory, stocking, merchandising, set-up and operation of merchandise booth, including opening and closing of booth and reconciling cash drawer. This position requires agility and light strength. These individuals will be very customer service oriented and willing to work in any capacity to provide excellent service. The Merchandise Coordinator will work evenings as scheduled from 5:00 p.m. through the close of intermission for each performance.
VIP Check In-Full and Part TIme
The primary emphasis for this position is to work at the entrance to reserved seating to check in all reserved seating patrons, VIP's and guests with special needs and to usher them to their assigned seating. These individuals will be very customer service orientated and willing to work in any capacity to provide excellent service. They must have calm, friendly and professional demeanor at all times and be able to respond to questions or customer problems in an informative and constructive manner. This position will work evenings as scheduled from 5:15 p.m. through the start of each performance.
Telephone Sales Agents-Full or Part Time
All members of the ticket sales crew will work varied hours in the main office based upon business. These individuals must be willing to work in a fast paced environment during business hours. The main function of the sales crew will be taking phone ticket orders through an online ticketing system. Familiarity with data input, attention to detail and organizational skills are vital to this position. These individuals will display ultimate customer service skills. These positions begin in mid June and run through the end of the Festival season, August 23rd. The sales office is open 8am - 6pm seven days a week. Full and part time positions available.
Box Office Sales-Full or Part Time
This individual(s) must have ability to work in fast-paced and hectic atmosphere during our most busy times of the year. They must have calm, friendly and professional demeanor at all times and is able to respond to questions or customer problems in an informative and constructive manner. Familiarity with data input, attention to detail and organizational skills are vital to this position. This individual(s) will need to possess a superior ability in customer service skills. Box Office Agents will be scheduled from 4:30pm - 8pm on evenings assigned.
Please note: Because of the fluctuating demands of the Festival atmosphere, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, enjoying the spirit of "The Team"
