John's Profile
John relocated to Lake Tahoe in January of 2009, but most recently was living in Las Vegas as a Stage Manager for Cirque du Soleil's production of Zumanity at the New York, New York Hotel/Casino. John has worked on management staffs at the Illinois and Utah Shakespearean Festivals, The Goodman Theatre, and F.A.U.S.T. Productions. He has also premiered a new work of Adrian Hall's after three years of workshops: Savages, Christians and Other Homo-sapiens. Before becoming a manager, John was on various run crews at the Santa Fe Opera, Utah Shakespearean Festival and did two tours with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan (Fall and East Coast, A Christmas Carol). John was honored in 2004 to be awarded with USITT's Young Designers & Technician Award for Stage Management, given out each year to a graduating stage manager who has demonstrated excellence or outstanding potential in the area of stage management. John has a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Masters of Fine Arts in Stage Management from the University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program.
