Reno Baroque Ensemble Performs Preview of its Spring Concerts for Sage Ridge StudentsMay 5, 2009

WHAT: Reno Baroque Ensemble, in partnership with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and KNPB, offers a preview of its upcoming spring concert series to the students at Sage Ridge School featuring its a cappella style followed by questions and answers with the students. Reno Baroque Ensemble’s spring concerts take place at venues throughout Reno-Tahoe, May 29 - 31. Musical highlights focus on the Baroque period and allied eras featuring Vivaldi’s classics The Four Seasons and Gloria, directed by Eric Gault, with nationally acclaimed soprano Olivia Hakel joined by soloists Martin Davids on violin and Elisabeth Reed on cello, and accompaniment by members of the American Bach Soloists, the Reno Philharmonic and the Reno Chamber Orchestra.
