Reno Baroque Ensemble Performs Preview of its Spring Concerts for Sage Ridge Students

WHAT:    Reno Baroque Ensemble, in partnership with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and KNPB, offers a preview of its upcoming spring concert series to the students at Sage Ridge School featuring its a cappella style followed by questions and answers with the students. 

Reno Baroque Ensemble’s spring concerts take place at venues throughout Reno-Tahoe, May 29 - 31. Musical highlights focus on the Baroque period and allied eras featuring Vivaldi’s classics The Four Seasons and Gloria, directed by Eric Gault, with nationally acclaimed soprano Olivia Hakel joined by soloists Martin Davids on violin and Elisabeth Reed on cello, and accompaniment by members of the American Bach Soloists, the Reno Philharmonic and the Reno Chamber Orchestra.

WHY:   In their ongoing mission to bring cultural events to the Reno-Tahoe community, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and KNPB present the Reno Baroque Ensemble for three performances: Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, May 29 at 8 p.m.; Trinity Episcopal Church, Reno, May 30 at 7:30 p.m.; and Resort at Squaw Creek, Olympic Valley, May 31 at 4 p.m.
