Extraordinary
entertainment, fantastic food, family and friends will converge under the stars
on the scenic shore of Lake Tahoe this summer as the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare
Festival (LTSF) presents its 39th season - the premiere summer event
in the Reno/Tahoe region. Featuring live entertainment seven nights a week from
July 15 - August 21, 2011, the season is anchored by the Festival's production
of William Shakespeare's comic masterpiece, Twelfth Night; performed Tuesdays through Sundays each week at 7:30
p.m. LTSF's
Producing Artistic Director, Charles Fee directs the production.
"We promised our faithful audience a return to ‘real' Shakespeare last
year - and we're delivering on that promise", says Fee of this season's
production. "I am thrilled to be
directing this wildly funny, deeply moving play. Expect a lavish production with gorgeous
costumes, stunning sets and beautiful music - performed with wit and clarity by
one of the best professional acting companies in the West!"
Shakespeare's Twelfth Night is sure to enchant the
entire family. After a shipwreck on an unfriendly shore and the loss of her
twin brother Sebastian, young Viola must pose as a man to survive. Shakespeare's sophisticated comedy of
gender-bending mistaken identity is full of passionate longing and bittersweet
romance. Twelfth Night is an irresistible and poignant comedy that is one of
the Bard's most luminous plays.
The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival experience features extraordinary,
live, summer entertainment at a stunning lakeside location that is complimented
by al fresco dining at its on-site restaurant - Shakespeare's Kitchen.
In

view, rootsy funk/rock guitar licks with a bit of dirt under the nails. Steeped
in roots, wallowing in funk, and marinated in soul, Jelly Bread's sound is all
