- Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival Named Among the Top Events in the USA by Top Events USA - the Top Site for the Best Events in the Country
Mar 3, 2009 Showcasing the best of the main events and festivals across America, Top Events USA has nominated The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival as one of the top events in the USA and one of the top ten events in Nevada.
“The great thing about Top Events USA,” says publisher Kevin Retief, “is that places on the top ten lists cannot be bought. These are honest selections of choices made by the people who actually use and visit the events and festivals we mention.”
The initial list of top events of each state was the result of intense research and input from various sources including travel journalists, travel professionals, tourism offices and public opinion.
Since the launch of the site, nominations, comments and suggestions from visitors help to refine and update Top Events USA.
“In a time of economic stress,” adds Kevin Retief, “people are looking closer to home for recreation and vacation opportunities. There are great events and festivals taking place in your own backyard.”
