Seating Areas

Layout and Seat Numbers in Theater

The manner in which the seats are numbered varies depending on the area of the theater you're sitting in. The Premium and Lower Gallery Reserved sections are separated into odd numbers indicating seats on the left side of the house and even numbers indicating seats on the right side of the house. As an example, if you have tickets for Row H, Seats 2 & 4, your seats will indeed be next to each other. The Premium section contains rows A to G. The Lower Gallery section contains rows H to W.  Seats numbers start at the middle aisle and work either left (odd numbers) or right (even numbers).

Premium Seating

Premium seating includes the closest and most intimate views of the stage - these seats are located in the first seven rows of the theatre and feature a roomy Adirondack chair and wait service to offer you a truly first-class experience at our theatre. Food and beverages from Shakespeare’s Kitchen are delivered directly to patrons up to a 1/2 hour before the start of the performance and then again during intermission. Patrons must be seated and orders placed by 6:45 pm. Dinner, drinks and gratuity are not included in ticket price. Please note; due to space restrictions, coolers are not allowed in this section.

Lower Gallery Reserved

Lower Gallery Reserved features 100% assigned seating. New in 2011, this has been an overwhelming success and we are thrilled to continue this again.  There is no need to wait in line for hours ahead of time to secure your seat in the theater.  All seats are pre-set high-backed  chairs. When choosing your tickets, the best seats available are automatically assigned to you. Please note: Cooler size is limited in this section to 14" long x 9" high x 10" wide.

Upper & Side Gallery

Upper Gallery are open seating tiers located behind the Lower Gallery Reserved section; the uppermost section of the amphitheatre and alongside of the Lower Gallery by the entrance. Since 2011, chairs are pre-set, low-backed sand chairs as well as open sand for blanket seating in the Upper Gallery. There is no extra charge if you choose to sit in an awaiting chair or spread out picnic style in the sand. This section is still seated on a first come first served basis. Seats are NOT pre-assigned here.

Persons with a Disability, Wheelchair Seating & Assisted Listening Devices

Wheelchair and accessible seating is available, as are assisted listening devices.  Please call the Box Office at (800) 74-SHOWS to order your tickets and make arrangements.  Patrons who use a wheelchair should enter the amphitheatre through the main gates. For all mobility impairment seating, please check in with the on-site Box Office for escort to your seats.  Although we will make every accommodation to seat your entire party together, due to limited seating, we can guarantee to seat only one companion guest with each patron.  If you would like, please ask your reservationist to sit additional guests as close as possible.

Wheelchair seating will be to the far house left of premium seating. Mobility impairment seating will be to the far house left of lower gallery reserved, just as you enter the amphitheatre, limiting the need to walk far into the theatre or in the sand.

Patrons using assisted listening devices will be asked for a driver’s license or credit card as a deposit only, to be returned at the conclusion of the performance upon return of the device. There is no actual charge for the use of device. Service animals, which are individually trained to perform tasks for patrons with disabilities, are permitted. Service animals are considered working animals, not pets, which are strictly prohibited in Nevada State Park at Sand Harbor.
