The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival provides shuttle transportation on our busiest nights to ease parking congestion at Sand Harbor.

Driving Directions to Sand Harbor State Park

From Reno
- Take I-80 to State Hwy 395 South, towards Carson City
- Drive south to the Mt. Rose Hwy, NV 431 exit, signed Lake Tahoe North Shore
- Travel over Mt. Rose Hwy (NV 431) approx. 25 miles to the end of this road when it meets Hwy 28
- Turn east (left) onto Hwy 28
- Travel through Incline Village to Sand Harbor State Park, approx. 6 miles.
- Sand Harbor is located on the right hand side of Hwy 28. Use the second entrance to Sand Harbor, not the boat entrance.
From Sacramento
- Take I-80 east toward Reno
- Take the Truckee Exit #188B toward North Lake Tahoe/Kings Beach, Hwy 267 S
- Travel over Hwy 267 12 miles to the stop sign
- Turn east (left) onto Hwy 28
- Go through Kings Beach, Crystal Bay and Incline Village toward Sand Harbor, approx. 11 miles
- Sand Harbor is located on the right hand side of Hwy 28 (use the second entrance to Sand Harbor, not the boat entrance).
From South Lake Tahoe
- Travel east on Lake Tahoe Blvd (US 50) toward Carson City, approx. 12 miles
- Turn west (left) onto Hwy 28 towards Incline Village (do not continue towards Carson City)
- Travel approx. 10 miles
- Sand Harbor is located on the left hand side of Hwy 28 (use the first entrance to Sand Harbor).
From Carson City
- From Carson St. (Hwy 395 South), take Hwy 50 over Spooner Summit toward Lake Tahoe
- At the summit, go west (right) onto Hwy 28 toward Incline Village/Sand Harbor (do not continue towards South Lake Tahoe)
- Travel approx 10 miles
- Sand Harbor is located on the left hand side of Hwy 28 (use the first entrance to Sand Harbor).
